Our Motivational Workshop at NEDUET NES Induction 2016
Tuesday, March 1, 2016
Dear MyBloggerLab Readers,
On 23rd of February, we were invited at NEDUET, (which is among the finest engineering universities of the country) for a motivational tech talk on Entrepreneurship and how students can be entrepreneurs? The occasion was of an induction ceremony of newly recruit members of the NED Entrepreneurship Society. The basic idea was to inspire young students with the correct knowledge they fail to learn within their four years of bachelors. Today in this article, we will be discussing about our motivational workshop on entrepreneurship at NES Induction Cermoney 2016.
Topic: How Students can become Entrepreneurs?
They essential cutouts from the event are as follows:
The students that we have in our universities know how to acquire high marks in examinations, but they have no or fewer skills which are not even enough to earn them a job. Developing high quality skills should be the main focus at our universities and professional institutions because with high quality skills you can achieve almost anything.
It is really hard to accept, but the age we live today is being operated by creative rich inventors, who are trapping us into a system that makes them even richer using our skills. First, we spend 15 years of our life working hard in school, colleges and universities. Then we work hard to get an internship, and finally a perfect job. We work hard for almost 20+ years to get a job, with a decent salary. In short, study hard, work harder until got a job.
The biggest dream of a student is to get a job in a multinational company or a firm that can hire them in a demanding position, work from 9 to 5 and get two holidays a week. No student really thinks to become the next Steve Jobs or Bill Gates of the Sillion valley because they are stuck in a system that bounds them to think “OUT OF THE BOX”.
I am not against Higher Education but students should develop the right skills, because a degree is useless if you do not have the proper skills.
About 2 years ago when MyBloggerLab.com became one of the most popular blogger resource sites, there were a lot of people around me who were interested in learning how all these things are done. My Friends, family all were interested in learning. There was one of my friends from school, who was really passionate about learning so I decided to mentor him and to teach him how to run a blog.
1st Month: I told him everything I knew, almost. I asked him to implement whatever I taught him and told him to meet me again after 1 month, so we can discuss about the progress. He with all the dedication in the world thought that he will be making money straight after the first day. I knew he was wrong, but I did not want to put his dedication to rest.
2nd Month: He visited me after a month, he looked a bit unhappy because he didn't make any money yet. I told him to try one more month to see if it works this time or not. I gave him few more tips and he went home. I again told him to meet me after one month.
3rd Month: After a month, he visited me again and this time he was utterly disappointed and really wanted to QUIT. Since, he has not made any money and he was unable to concentrate on his studies as well. At this moment, he was ready to give up the hard work he did in past 3 months. However, I knew he had something in him so I decided to pay him $10 a week, if he works on his blogs/websites and business. He quickly accepted the offer, and went home.
6th Month: He did not contact me for about 2 months, I had no idea where he was. One day, I got a call from him saying emotionally that “Faizan, I made my first $100” we were both silent for about 15 seconds because they joy we had was unexplainable.
Today: He is one of the finest blogger and entrepreneur and this was only possible because of his hard work and dedication. Believe it or not, he makes twice more money than me. What would have happened, if he had given up in the 3rd month? He would have ended up doing a job, helping others in making their dreams a reality.
So, Never Give up on your dreams, it may take a week, a month, a year or even a decade, but once you got successful, you will remain there forever
1. Create a Blog or Website.
(i) Customize it with your Skills (HTML, CSS)
(ii) Optimize it (SEO, Social Media, Ads)
(iii) Monetize it (AdSense, Affiliates, BuySellAds)
2. Sell Your Skills Online:
(i) Odesk, Freelancer, Elance, Fiverr
(ii) Android or IOS App Development
(iii) Sell Items on Marketplace (Themeforest, Kindle store, amazon)
3. Repeat...
Give at least six months of the above plan and I can guarantee you will be making more money than any of the toppers in your university after 2 to 4 years. Stays focused, improve your skills and never give up whatever happens.
The atmosphere were so overwhelming that I almost ran out of my business cards, so I had to manually tell them my Email and phone no so they can get a free consultation.
I also offered 2 jobs to the available audience, one for a full time HTML-CSS Web developer and second for a part-time content writer. I really hope, that those guys will add great value to my team. Thanks to my online readers, fans, users and followers for being a great asset and supporting both MyBloggerLab and Templateism with great love. Hopefully, we will be soon going to international schools and colleges as well to motivate and inspire till then peace, blessings and happy blogging.

What the IDEA behind this Event?
Being a student, sometimes it is really hard to realize the true reality that Education can never possibly guarantee you that you will be a successful person. Education is just one ingredient that is required to be successful, but that does not mean educated people are always successful. To be a successful Entrepreneur or a businessman you don’t need professional degrees or fancy education, the only thing that count is your SKILLS.The students that we have in our universities know how to acquire high marks in examinations, but they have no or fewer skills which are not even enough to earn them a job. Developing high quality skills should be the main focus at our universities and professional institutions because with high quality skills you can achieve almost anything.

Some Captured Moments from the Event:
How Students can Make SIX FIGURE INCOME:
Being a student it is not an easy job to concentrate on studies and business at the same time. However, if you have passion, dedication and motivation, then believe me, you can keep everything in balance. Following is my plan for students to make Six Figure income:1. Create a Blog or Website.
(i) Customize it with your Skills (HTML, CSS)
(ii) Optimize it (SEO, Social Media, Ads)
(iii) Monetize it (AdSense, Affiliates, BuySellAds)
2. Sell Your Skills Online:
(i) Odesk, Freelancer, Elance, Fiverr
(ii) Android or IOS App Development
(iii) Sell Items on Marketplace (Themeforest, Kindle store, amazon)
3. Repeat...
Give at least six months of the above plan and I can guarantee you will be making more money than any of the toppers in your university after 2 to 4 years. Stays focused, improve your skills and never give up whatever happens.
From the Editor's Desk:
At the end of the day, It was a amazing experience to able to share my thought with the students sharing the same age as me. I am really thankful to the management & team of NED Entrepreneurship society who really gave me this opportunity. I was really excited to see that the audience was very interested in learning about Entrepreneurship and starting their own business rather than working for someone else.
